The crime wave continues: after having a few cars (my own included) broken into a few weeks ago, one of the storage areas for my apartment building was vandalised last night. I had been giving thought to moving, but I didn't want to do it until at least early 2006. Unfortunately, these instances of petty crime might speed up the process.
My new workplace has me in an office instead of a cubicle. I don't think that I actually need one, but they were told that they had some extra space so I wasn't going to turn it down. Besides, I get the chance to see a view of the glorious I-5 all day. Who wouldn't love that?
Tickets for the Seattle International Film Festival go on sale in less than three days' time. I eagerly await the lineup. Same holds true for the Toronto and Palm Springs festivals, but, since they're in September and January, respectively, I'll stick to focusing on the SIFF for now.
