Why does it always take me so long to come around to thinking that strikes others years before? To wit...I quite like the Radiohead song "Creep." Perhaps I can blame the terrible radio stations in Portland, Maine for my delayed appreciation?
Las Vegas never ceases to entertain / disgust me. The city is a train wreck in a number of ways, but the weather was absolutely perfect on Sunday, the vegan donuts at Ronald's Donuts were simply astounding (a decade between Boston creams and jelly-filleds is far too long), and I didn't need to spend one dime on gambling to have a good time. I might regret it if I did it, but I do wonder what living in one of the southern California/Nevada towns would be like.

Your aproach is differnt and on a higher ground than mine - I am unable to just appreciate life for what it is (thus far) - I am always struggling to make it into something more, like the ones (now dead) I admire did.
