Many thanks for all those who gave their perspective about whether I should voice my concerns about my friend's rapid engagement, considering her strong tendency towards rushing into relationships. As it is, she sent me an e-mail telling me of the news (which I'd actually learned through a MySpace bulletin). Make no mistake: I do wish her well, but I'm just not convinced AT ALL that 21-year-old guys should make lifelong commitments hastily.



What ever did we do before computers?

I'll be away from my routine through the end of next week. I'm having a friend (a high-maintenance one, at that) visit and I'm finishing the biggest project of the year at work. No one's looking more forward to early June and the Seattle International Film Festival than I am...



Recently, I pared my SG friends list a bit in the hopes of maintaining a manageable number with the expectation that those affected wouldn't be too bothered with such a deletion. If I was mistaken, please do let me know.
