Today, traffic was snarled throughout Seattle as immigration activists marched from Seattle Center to downtown and back right in the middle of rush hour. I have sympathy for the issue, but I'm amazed that people still think that waving signs and dramatically disrupting traffic will result in any discernible positive change of opinion regarding immigration.
I think that my idealism is officially dead.
