A glint of workplace productivity returned to me today. I was happy to see its comeback.



I finally visited the new Whole Foods near my workplace. You can rarely go wrong with a giant salad. I love you, artichoke hearts.

United Airlines still hasn't found my bag. I'm presuming that they won't. Good job there, jerks.

I'll be seeing David Lynch's new film in less than a week. I look very much forward to it. I'm hoping that HolaGatita's friend Atlantis will get to meet David when he comes to Seattle in mid-January, but I digress...



The recent trip to New York / New Jersey was typically shorter than it ought to have been. Fortunately, I did spend far more time at my sister's than most area visits usually entail. My nephews, 7 and 3 years old respectively, enjoy playing roughly and making me worry that one or both will end up crying. Tiny sadists, that's what they are!



I miss warm weather. I'm not saying that Seattle is cold, but I think that the time will come when I want a certain likelihood of sun and warmth all year round.
