I'm going to Maine for the weekend. I look forward to seeing my parents & friends, but I'm not looking forward to the 5 flights I need to take to get there and back. Don't you feel badly for me? After all, I am the unluckiest person in the history of the world.
I'm accustomed to having low expectations regarding national elections, but next Tuesday might bring deep disappointment with the voters of Seattle. Here's hoping that at least 50.0001% of the voters don't have the Puritanical streak of the City Council in enacting the new rules for strip clubs. Even if I didn't go to such places, I'm ashamed that a city which thinks of itself as "liberal" is so damned concerned over such minor matters. Vote No on 1!
