I took my parents, on their third visit to Seattle since I moved here in 2003, down to Mt. St. Helens yesterday. Thankfully, no eruptions occurred yesterday. Unlike May 1980 when the plume reached 12 miles into the sky.
And, relatively speaking, that one wasn't even an especially large eruption. Thus, if the Yellowstone supervolcano goes, we're all cooked. Nature is awe-inspiring.
Has anyone seen this film? I expect to see it on Tuesday.
Why is that I almost always root for the cartoon cats while, in real life, I don't want any birds or mice to be eaten?
