One way in which I know that I'm getting older is how my heady idealism of times past seems to morph into a well-worn practicality over the years. I once believed that the Democrats could actually make a difference, but they're almost more frustrating to me now than the Evil Ones on the other side of the aisle. I once made strong efforts to ensure that I was eating any semblances of dairy in my food, but I have openly consumed quesadillas in this calendar year.

Hmm, was there a point to this? Well, if there was, it was assuredly self-serving and dull as dishwater!

Still more people from away are making overtures to visiting Seattle during this upcoming summer.
