For the second or third time this year, I had to call in sick (legitimately) after a long weekend. I know that this probably looks very bad for me, but, fortunately, I have a great boss who won't get all bent out of shape due to my absence. The lingering headache might be from dehydration, but, clearly, it's damned better than what I had last night. Now aren't you glad I told you?
Nitpick of the day: why is that so many people who don't watch television feel a great superiority over those who do? By all means, not watching TV is a perfectly viable alternative, but the act of watching television isn't positive or negative: it's simply a medium through which communications flow. Should I feel similarly proud of myself if I don't listen to radio?
