I just listened to this record for the first time since high school, and i cried like a child because i am not Joni mitchell. I don't have lovers or adventures or mysteries about my psyche that can only be solve in song. And that makes me so sad.

You say your life is uninteresting and that you don't have adventures...You're a Suicidegirl!! And one of the most popular ones at that! You are the envy of lesser women. You have survived what others could not have.
As for adventure, it's not always what it's cracked up to be. Adventure usually occurs from one being in a treacherous and dangerous situation.
There is an old saying...a curse as a matter of fact...I believe it's Chinese in origin. It goes something like:
May you always live in interesting times.
In other words, to live in uninteresting times is to live in peace and prosperity, for interesting times are usually times of strife.
Be careful what you wish for...you just might get it.
