hello my little ballers and shot callers
sorry its been so long between posts, i've been moving and it is hard to think after spendding all day unpacking things
thats basically all i've been up to, unpacking and exploring wilmington DE on foot, and going to shelters looking for the puppy or dog who is right for me
oh did i not mention, I'm gonna get a dog!!! i am super jazzed! it will definitely make moving to a new, more suburbanish area more manageable emotionally.
i feel a little trapped here, its very suburban and cute, but very dull, and because i don't have a car and the buses aren't very frequent all i have the patience to do is walk,
in my travels i have seen......
a HUGE (and very unexpected, 3 day late) memorial day parade, complete with shriners on tiny moter bikes in fezzes, highschool bands,cheerful veterans, chubby adolescent baton twirlers, pinchable girl scouts, miss Delaware, miss teen delaware, and mrs.delaware, classic cars and what apeared to be three prize winning miniature ponys
it was like i walked into a Norman Rockwell painting
i saw a beautiful little girl in a dress printed with little white poodles, spit like a camel into a baby carriage, i couldn't tell if there was a baby in it or not but it was still funny, disturbing and gross
i saw a waitress with awesome country western hair, like patsy cline in the 50s. she told me her boss calls her lorreta lynn, and whenever he dose she says, "oh no honey, shes dead"
i met two very nice people, a couple named Winn and Kali, she is on the philly roller girls, and i want to join sometime soon!! roller derby rocks my socks
