Well, my folks loaned me some cash, and one of my outstanding loans looks like it's going to get paid off in part, so I'm not as broke as I feared.

You know, the thing I hate most about being desperate is that it causes me to treat my friends a little worse than I want to.

But, today's a shinier day in the Life of Geoff. I'm scoring some serious points at work, I'm back in class, I'm not as broke as I feared, Morganna's gonna come up on Saturday and bring my MAME cabinet.

I'm cutting back on my alcohol consumption, as part of my lose-weight effort. I'm also eating fruits more, and some vegetables as well. I kep meaning to exercise, but I never get to it.

I think I'll pick up some weights when I have the dosh, though.
