Well, my great move-a-thon beings at now plus about 7 hours.
Almost everything is packed, the apartment is almost empty (except for the remaining furniture and the great big wall of boxes).
My job is actually sending me out of town next week (I'm going to MI), so I'm not going to be around.
Also, my new place has no Internet access or phone yet, so color me incommunicado for a bit.

Well... I'm not actually from SV... I only lived there for a year and a half. I think it's probably that we had some mutual friends or something. Like you said, everybody knows everybody there so thats probably it.
