Wow, I had a wierd day.

I got to work in a FOUL mood. I had a pretty bad day at work. But, at the end of the day, we got our paychecks, and mine had a $200 bonus attached (which is wierd, it not being the end of the quarter or anything).

So then I go to the Loft (a local theater) and saw one of my all time favorite movies, Almost Famous. Philip Seymour Hoffman was going to do a Q&A afterwards, but I didn't want to sit through the other film.

But BEFORE the movie started...

I'm there 20 minutes or so early. There's this girl sitting a row back and a few seats over. I say something to her, and she says something back, and before I know she's sitting next to me and we're talking and have a lot in common and the movie starts.

The problem, of course, is that I am so shy that I can't even ask for her number. Really. Even though I really had to pee, I fled the theater in terror when the movie ended. *sigh*

And she was cute, too. Why the hell does our society insist that I, as the male party, must make the first move?
