It was a four bar night.
We started off just gathering forces at the watering hole at which we always gather to drink. I have an absolutely enormous crush on one of the waitresses there.
Then, it was off to the strip club! Whee!!! I did not spend my money responsibly, but I had an awfully good time. So too did the gentleman in whose honour the stag was being held. I didn't get the chance to write anything vulgar on his shirt the way most of the other guys and dancers did, but I certainly did my part otherwise. Entirely too good a time was had by all.
Then it was back to our backup watering hole, a crowded pub where the music's too quiet and the beer is too expensive, and nobody knows how to flush the fucking toilet. We did that for a while, and then we hit the Goth club down the road.
That was good fun. I also have a gigantic crush on the girl who always dances there wearing a charming fusion of what looks like evening wear and camping gear. There was a little goth kid there in an oversized Soul Asylum t-shirt, and I had to consider that this young pup may legitimately have just thought it was a black t-shirt with a spooky saying on the back. (Ooh! My soul's so insaaaaaaaaane it has to go in the asylum, man!) He may have never endured the radio onslaught of "Runaway Train".
Either that, or he has the most liberal definition of goth music I've ever encountered.
Despite the best efforts of the good people at Coors, Heineken, and Alexander Keith's, I have returned home in a state perilously reminiscent of sobriety. But I can report that a good time was had by all.
What more can you ask for?
UPDATE: I've given Mozilla a whirl, and now I'm trying out the Firefox beta. I still prefer Opera, because I dig how customizeable absolutely everything is, but unfortunately there are a lot of pages I surf that don't like Opera. Seriously - would it kill the good people at Mozilla to make some dockable toolbars?

If I never hear "Runaway Train" ever again, I will be a happy girl.
I just read the testimonial you left for me. You have a way with words.
