Okay, so you know how any time somebody complains about problems with their PC, some wiseass always quips "So buy a Mac"?

So the other week my computer dies. I'm not sure why or how... it just gives up the ghost for no good reason, at really the worst possible time for both my stress levels and my budget.

Nonetheless... I just bought this Mac. 17" Powerbook. Holy freaking sexy.

I've used Macs enough to seperate the fact from the fiction, so I wasn't expecting any "it's just better" or "it just works" nonsense (it was pulling teeth to get it talk to our wireless router). And I wouldn't have even considered jumping ship if Boot Camp wasn't on the table.

But I wanted something stylish, sexy, powerful, and portable. It turns out that most of the audio applications I've already paid for have the mac versions included, Boot Camp should handle everything else, and I'm installing World of Warcraft as I type.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna become "Mac People", but I'm willing to see how the other half lives.
