It is heartbreaking to me that the Coca Cola Company is pulling Vanilla Coke from the market. In its new Black Cherry Vanilla Coke, it has succeeded only in coming up with a beverage that is neither as good as Cherry Coke nor Vanilla Coke.

This is a step backwards for humanity.

Following up on my recent Tom Waits obsession, I picked up a few more CDs - Heartattack and Vine and Nighthawks at the Diner are making their way over to my ipod tonight. (The Stooges? The New York Dolls? When did my ipod get so old school?)

God bless HMV and their piles upon piles of 3/$30 CDs that should have been in my collection a decade ago.

I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to write Tic Tac Toe in C.

So far I have a big comment that describes pretty completely what I want to do. I just can't figure out how to do it in actual programming. I'm having one of those nightmare moments where I look at every program I've written before and not understanding a character of it. I wonder if my compiler parses english.

I'd like to congratulate my dahling Oryx on her sexy new set going up. Rawr.

In other "Late to the Party" news, I finally cracked open my Arrested Development Season 1 set. I'd never seen it before, but kept hearing it was the best thing on TV.

Who knew? "They" just may have been right!
