I do so enjoy the drive home. 5 hours or so of peace and quiet, to collect my thoughts and sing along to my ipod. It's a hoot.
The doggie health news (the dognosis, if you will) is much better. Evidently there's a miracle drug involved that could add years to her life, and except for a nasty cough from time to time, you wouldn't guess there was anything amiss with her at all. She seemed pretty happy all weekend.
It's also wonderful to get up and see my folks. Even my brother came home for the weekend.
All things considered, it was a pretty good weekend. Much better than I'd feared at the start of the week.
