today i write my selfish list of wants
1. to make some damn friend. it's frelling lonely here. i am at zero on the friends in cali meter. ZERO. My weekend included me walking 3 miles to venice beach, wandering around for like an hour, and then turning around and walking back. 10 + miles in all. go me.
2. more lean cus. pizzas yummy
3. for SG to make a bright pink zip up hoodie with silver glittery stuff and maybe some studs on it
4. for MI to suck it. 2 hours of driving and i get turned away for wanting to help out. i coulda been told the rules when i drove out the Long beach LAST week as opposed to hauling my butt out there again to be turned away
5. more of those super cute shirts i saw in Venice ( i got a tank top with red lips and "my ass" under them. i want the " no flirting... unless you mean it" one. woot)
6. to find a dress for the M&M wedding
7. to see the SG burlesque show.. hell yeah!!
8. Firefly back on the air
9. the next young avengers.. comic goodness
10. to figure out which green lant. to read first
11. a better comic shop then the HH down the street, the selection of toys is great, but not so much in the trades. i miss Y2 and Lonestar. I miss Fanboy and the endless sharing
12.HBO when i get back to tx
13. my copies of Christopher Moores "Dirty Job" and Stephen Kings "IT" here with me.. i have a hankering to read them. right now. I need some funny death and some Derry evil in my life right now
14. If you saw 4400 you know who i bloody want back on the show. DAMN YOU USA!!!! Also i want superpowers,,,, not the creepy blisters of doom one, but like, something cool.

Comic Store with a decent selection in trades? Atomic on Sunset is pretty good, but to be honest, I really prefer Golden Apple. They have a pretty good selection themselves, but it's one of those places where it's real easy to get in a coversation with staff or the regulars (always arguing in the back of the store Wednesday nights), and it's easy to find folks willing to share. I've had a hard time getting down there since I moved up to North Hollywood (It's on Melrose), but I think it's my favorite in LA.
