I had a new set go live on the front page yesterday. It meant a lot to me, since it was my good friend (in real life), the gorgeous @opaque
I'm so excited for more and more of my sets to be hitting member review. I am so in love with shooting sets for SG. :) <3
Speaking of shooting sets, I have been shooting so many hot hopefuls latelllly! Meet one of the about 15 hopefuls that I've shot in the past 6 months for SG....
Life has been good lately ;) I have lots to update you on AND I will mix in some beautiful photos as well ;) This gorgeous lady is new to SG... not even sure what her SG name will be yet! But she is just as sweet as she is gorgeous.
How about you guys? I hope this blog finds you all doing well and having a great month of June! Can you believe today is JULY 1st?? TIME IS FLYING BY FOR ME! How about you? Does time seem to go by faster and faster for you ever year?
Well- I am hanging in there and hanging on as tight as I can as life keeps flying by. Basically, that is how I can sum up my past year...full and fast! It was the hardest one of my life, by far the poorest year of my life, but also one of the most fun years. It's crazy how those things can co-exist and how you learn that more and more as you grow up.
I've been really bummed at myself to be so busy that I am not keeping up on blogs. There have been so many cute topics that @missy and @rambo have come up with that I want to share with you all..... so I decided to tackle it the way I would have when I used to teach middle school and one of my students would wait until the end of a quarter to do all of their homework. Just give them a list and tell them to tackle it one chunk at a time. Unfortunately...this homework business has been going on since February and I haven't done one assignment yet. So I will tackle this current week, plus go back to week one and make up that week ;) and try to do 2 blogs a week until I am caught up.
At least for now, that is my intention ;)

So this week's current HW assignment is:
6/27: Write about and post photos of your summer plans, favorite summer pastimes, etc.
My summer is going to be pretty amazing. I am flying to Tampa, Florida this week for 10 days to spend time with my family <3 Lots of time with my seeester, lots of chilling and photoshopping tons of sets,
this is me and my seeeeester!!
And of course I will be finding time to shoot another 5 sets for SG while I am down there. . :D

When I get back from Florida, I have about a month of hang out time in Santa Cruz where I am currently living at a friend's house... directly across the street from here...
then in August, I will head back to Columbus for the wedding of one of the most beautiful couples that I know, the gorgeous @damsel and her man Louie
andddd finally, the end of summer SG event, I will be heading to Phoenix Arizona for Hell City Tattoo Fest August 15.
I can not wait to meet the new girls and hang out with all of my old friends at the SG booth. I will be managing the merch booth as well as helping out with the Blackheart Burlesque performance. <3 I'm pretty excited, This will be my 9th straight year of attending both Columbus and Phoenix Hell City.

by the time I get home from Hell City the summer will be over and it will be fall, and that's a whole nother blog. I'll be heading up to Mendocino, and Humboldt, CA and then continuing north to Yachats, Eugene, and Portland, OR and finally up to Seattle, and Vancouver.
The last time I mad the trip up, I shot a pretty epic set that is now in member review. One of my all time favorite girls on SG, the stunning @peatrie shot in Seattle-

It's crazy, I remember falling in love with Casper when I first discovered SG. Now 9 years later, I am shooting her sets and she is someone I consider a good friend.
To be honest, when I discovered SG, I couldn't have been a less likely candidate for the site. Aside from being 30 years old at the time, I was also a full time schoolteacher. I spent a year agonizing on how I had missed my chance to do something so amazing. Then one day I decided that I was going to do what I wanted to do and not let anything stop me.
I chose to change my path in life and live a life that was true to who I was and what I believed... And I have never looked back. I may not inspire schoolchildren in a classroom anymore, but I honestly feel that I am able to inspire young women in a more honest and true way that I never could as a teacher. I can share my honest thoughts and not opinions and am free to share true advice and not worry about school systems or politics.
It was the best decision that I've made. I love my work with SG and the girls that I meet through this site! Like the beautiful @savor who I can not imagine my life without her friendship <3 (first set coming to member review soon).
