I was at an orthodontic course over the weekend and the fantastic presenter had some words of wisdom from his years of experience practicing:
"Why do patients want to do what you tell them to? Because they like you. And they like you because you care about them and are a nice person."
Sometimes it's as simple as that (and sometimes it's not but you know, you do your best)
