OK so leave was way to short of a refuge from Iraq but man was it good none the less. Three Tattoos done and a whole bunch of ideas runnning rampant to use up the rest of my body. Floging Molly was the greatest ever. I have never been to better shows in my life. It certainly doesn't hurt to have Nathen Maxwell the bassist throwing me Guinness during the show and talking with me afterwards. Dennis Casey the guitarist bought me two shirst and then he and Nathen signed both of them. Talk about an unreal experiance. The whole trip down to Ohio was incredible and it was great to go with Ken. To fill you in Ken is 52 years old and threw himself into the pit like a 20 year old and gave as good as he got. Lots of cool stuff to see along the drive and some real great conversation. And this is only one of the two weekends I was home!
I got to see a friend graduate from college with a totally non-employable degree and get drunk with the girl I have loved since I was 15. To bad I was drunk enough to let her know how I felt. Talk about an unexpected turn. Oh well the guinness and car bombs and tequila, and ... hit hard after awhile away. It was all good but I think it may hurt our friendship a bit but you never know. She is such a great person and so fun to be with. Kinda silly to go on about but hey thats what the heart does.
I will be doing a longer indepth write up of the whole trip and especially the concerts but you know I just had to say something. OH and I guess I still have it a bit since I got a nice (read really hot) woman to sit and talk with me for several hours till her flight to Africa. Not a bad way to cap off a leave sitting in an Airport preparing to go back to war.

Concerning young girls, I spend my whole day around 17/18 year olds and, as much as I totally enjoy my conversations with them, each day I'm reminded of just how young 18 really is... I think I just can't wack off to 18 anymore. Give me 21.
