George Gordon, Lord Byron, wrote this in 1814, as an ode to the beauty of a particular young woman (or maybe just to get laid, history is not terribly clear on that point). He couldn't possibly have known about SuicideGirls, you think? Imagine what he would write if he were alive today (and if romantic poetry actually sold and then only on greeting cards).
A blog or two ago I extolled upon the virtues of the book "Shit My Dad Says", saying it was the funniest book on the planet, That opinion has not changed. However, I may have found one that's close. It's called 'Texts From Last Night" which compiles favorites culled from the like named website of apparently real texts that no one can seem to remember having made. I give the following example only because it is apparently from the Dallas area code:
" (214) DUDE. I'M SO DRUNK.
(972) pete, this is bryce's mom.
(214) I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE MY COCK IN YOUR ASS.
(972) pete, this is still bryce's mom."
You'll know me if you ever see me on the dance floor. I'll be in the corner suffering from a distinct lack of rhythm and looking for all the world like a spastic rhinoceros beating a rug.
In closing, for the last several days, at approximately 8PM, I lose my internet connection. Which means I get to call my internet provider and after an interminable wait get to talk to a technician named Brian, speaking from whatever quonset hut they have outsourced the service call to. The upside is that I've learned to a large degree how to do my own troubleshooting.
