This is a question I ask myself and quite honestly I get pretty tired of talking to myself, so I thought I'd answer it...
"WOULD I WANT MY DAUGHTER TO BE A SUICIDE GIRL?"
I will answer that question with the following disclaimers:
1. I do not have a daughter
2. I wouldn't be a member to avoid the potentially icky (legal term)* situation of possibly running into naked pictures of my daughter (whom I don't have, this being a purely hypothetical exercise)
3. I trust that she would seek out my approval but know she would be independent enough to do it anyway (after all she is my daughter)
4. Hope that she looks like her mom
5. Trust that the membership would take good care of her...and when
6. Bob Suicide takes over the world, it'd nice to have family on the insiide.
All that being said, and knowing what I know, and seeing what I've seen, the answer is ,if she wanted to do this and have this be part of her life, the answer is a resounding "YES".

Unrelatedly, saw an old Charlie Rose interview with Dennis Hopper from 1994 on TV last night. A thoughtful and gentle man, he could play oily evil better than anyone (Frank Booth in Blue Velvet-enough said).

I am actually having that battle inside my mind about my little sister. She's 15, she knows that I'm a hopeful and I know that I'm her idol (with and without the SG part.) I'm super protective of her, and I still don't really know what my answer would be. I know she'd be a great model (she's literally a mix of Kemper and me when it comes to looks) but still...I have no idea!
