Howdy SG!
How are we all doing? We are back with another wonderful craft post after what feels like forever but we have had SO many birthdays, national holidays and blog home works that thankfully you have all had your screens blessed with the best of the UK.
It may be late but we are back with the gorgeous SGUK babe that is @brizelll who is an amazingly talented artist and tattoo artist!
So what can you tell us about the art that you do?
I create my art using procreate on the iPad - I've used many mediums in the past but this is by far my favourite for designing and drawing. I'm still very much experimenting with my style but I'm just loving the creative process at the moment.
I cant wait to delve deeper into tattooing once we can open back up!
How long have you been creating art?
I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. Art has always been my biggest passion, whenever I've been anxious or stressed. I've always ended up drawing to calm myself - which was never great around exams so basically forever really!
Are you self taught or have you studied?
I'm self taught - in drawing anyway! I've always just gone with the flow and see where I've gone. I still have a lot to learn but I learn best by doing. I'm currently doing a tattoo apprenticeship at an amazing shop for tattooing!
What would you say is your favourite art style to do?
Ooh this is tricky. I have such a varied taste! I love black line and graphic style stuff, but also love cute anime styles. For my own tattoos I prefer black or black and grey tattoos.
How long have you been tattooing?
I started my apprenticeship just over a year ago, unfortunately corona had another plan for me but I've already done some fab tattoos and cant wait until I can get back and do more!
Have you tattooed any girls from the site?
Yes! I've tattooed @asxna and it was actually @soulful who got me the apprenticeship so I get to work with her everyday which is AMAZING! Wouldn't have got the opportunity without Suicide Girls introducing me to such incredible people.
Who are the artists that inspire you?
So many, my tattoo artist Txktana is SO inspiring with all of her anime work, but I find inspiration in so may artists and random pieces I couldn't even think where to begin the list!
What are your creative goals for 2021 and beyond?
To jump into my art and tattooing, I just want to give my apprenticeship my all now!
If you could draw one style till the end of time what would it be?
Probably graphic linework, don't know if the style has a name maybe with a hint of anime.
What is the work you are most proud of?
This is probably really bad, but I don't think I've made the work I'm most proud of yet! I'll let you know when I create it.
We would love to thank @brizelll for giving the time to chat to us and we wish her the best for her apprenticeship!
