I even came home early today, go figure....
Maybe I'll go to fart-go tomorrow, but it looks like the problem will be solved with some .5mm graphite and vesper ferrules. Now if I could just get away from doing tech support over the phone.

The dogs and I have a new game that is loads of fun to play. It's called "King of the stairs." I take a toy and act interested in it and then i throw it down the stairs. I sit at the top with those two dogs in my pics while the hyper, younger one (Ichy) jumps down the stairs and teases the older two with it. He'll come up the stairs slowly while holding the toy out front, daring them to try and take it. Someone does and then ichy either runs back down the stairs or there is a tug of war. If we steal the toy back then we win and if ichy can get to the top of the stairs then he wins. He's fast enough that he can do it when it's just the three of them playing and he'll do a victory lap around the living room. It's amazing how they actually seem to understand the rules of the game because they were the ones to teach it to me.
