Boils down to... Possible Relationship doesn't need to know anything about Fuck Buddy EVER... Once Possible Relationship & you decide you are "exclusive", then kindly end it with Fuck Buddy & there is no need for one to know about the other, ever. It is all your business until the "exclusive" word is used.
However, if you only suspect, yet no one has said, that Possible Relationship has become Exclusive Relationship, check to be sure if your suspicions are correct before proceeding to end it with Fuck Buddy. That is, unless you would feel better ending it as soon as a possiblity starts feeling like a relationship.
