so im sitting here thinking how far do you go for something before you just realize its a lost cause but at the same time you love this thing more then life its self...long story short my ex gave birth to my son about a month and a half ago and signed over all rights to her new man so now i have none and today i find out hes been home with them for 4 days now and no hey hes coming home...i want so bad to fight this but my hands are literally tied and right now i guess i just have to decide if i wanna spend the $5000 or so for a lawyer and court costs for me son...why does life have to be so damn difficult at times...

why were rights signed over in the first place?

I know laws are different in other states but I always thought that YOU had to be the one to sign away your rights and that it couldnt be forced. Unless she went to a judge or something. I'd think that what she did was illegal otherwise. Look up your state laws on that before looking for a lawyer. Do your own research first.
