tonight I hung out with LinenandLace and some of her friends. We went to Axis, saw Juilette Lewis and the Licks. Awesome fucking show! I haven't had fun like that for awhile.
Afterwards we sat out in the freezing cold for like an hour and half waiting for her to come out.
and of course as we're stting out there we're making fun of people going by, like the thre really gay dudes all talking with lispsssss.
or the 4 slutty girls wearing next to nothing. (3 outfits that I would wear in a heartbeat), and then the euro-trash, wtf?
oh, and the one homeless guy that walked by asking for change. Fuck! He smelled like ass! It was like talking to a portable toilet.
there were two opening bands. the first one sucked. I mean come on guys the 70s are over. the 70s retro is over, buy a new shirt. that and the lead singer was trying to act all tough, like he didn't care whether we liked him or not. Fuck it, that's BS.
the second opening band, Salem, was great! Great music, good fashion sense, and the lead singer was so full of life! He really talked to the crowd, and he was really cute too.
And Juilette Lewis rocked. I can't even begin to describe that. go ask LinenandLace, as she was most closely graced with Miss Juilette's presence.
