feeling pretty stoked...

about the artist who's doing my new tattoo next week. i had wandered into mr zebra on telegraph a couple of times, but yesterday seemed the day to get things rolling. and i am realy glad i stopped to talk to the guy doing the scheduling for awhile.

i didn't need it today or t'row (against my aries nature, thank you very much) so i was able to get an appointment with reed - the guy who's been at the shop the longest. he's totally punk rock (which is who i need for this thing. if i could've been really patient, i could've waited to go back home to nyc & see jimmy g (from murphy's law, an old bud, we used to work security together at a chi-chi times square hotel back in the day) - but reed's work is fucking amazing. and his dad drew cartoons like josie & the pussy cats and scooby fuckin' do.

so yeah -- i am psyched. thursday 2pm my little black sheep friend gets to be perched atop my left shoulder, chatting in my ear til the end of days...
