so - go re-rent night watch. i scribbled this watching it the 1st time "a glorious hodge-podge of excess. it's part raimi, part tarantino. a lotta argento, more gilliam and jeunet/caro (sometimes.... y'know?).i'd say there's even some bunuel & some herzog in there for good measure
