Gonna try a quick update, even though I've taken my Sleepytime tea and am waiting to drowse off.
I was caught completely unaware by the upcoming holiday. I didn't realize until last night that Thanksgiving was this week. Damn. Of course, I don't get the day off, and I'll be in the store for "blitz" and the mobs/riots. I'm curious to know what the hot items will be this year, so that I can avoid that part of the store. It'll be nice to have a day-after-Thanksgiving where I don't get punched by angry customers.

A lot of drama in real life, and there's a lot of drama on here. Thankfully, I'm not involved in any of it, and just am an observer, but I still feel dreadfully uncomfortable watching people I know argue. I do believe the harsh feelings on here are abating, so...
...starting to become friends with a new girl at work, who's going through quite a bit of stuff; stressful, life-changing situations are falling on her like rain right now. I think I subconsciously search out people with heavy lives.
She's now subject of much high-school-level gossip amongst the idiot teenagers and dullard adults at work, she's quite aware of it, and she's quite hurt by it. With everything else she's going through right now, the last thing she needs are slack-jawed teenagers making work that much more stressful. The funny thing is, there's so much real-life crap she's dealing with that could be gossiped about, but they're resorting to the usual spiteful backstabbing. The girls hate her, the guys are pissed that she won't go out with them, so...
I used to hate teenagers, but now I just hate people who act like teenagers.
