I am now on 36 hours with no sleep I tried to get some laid down in the call room, was promptly woken up at 5:00 (a.m) by an angry voice telling me that the computers are all down and that we can't possibly chart on patients

To which I replied: what the fuck do you want me to do about it?

This was the wrong answer. About two minutes later a mountain sized physician was pounding on the door telling me to get my ass up, solve the problem and then come back to him.

I am now his personal errand-bitch today and it is going swimmingly. I should have gone to law school .
