i like almost everything old school.....

that may come from being old, i dunno.

i was playing the ramones today, at way to high a decible level apparently, because even the little old women along the streets were giving me the finger. nothing is as fun as a clear blue sky, a soft spring breeze, full tank of gas, and getting the bird from everyone you meet.

went to the butte this weekend for some snow sliding and visitation with the 'rents. good times. it is interesting to me how one can love another person with whom one has very little in common. and virtually nothing in common when politics and whatnot are concerned. just an observation.

the acadamy awards for the most part makes me want to hurl. a bunch of rich fucks up there crying and emotional over an overpriced, overvalued gold statue. the people who should be getting awards, nurses, teachers and that sort of thing never get recognized for the good they do for people.
i'll stop now before i go overboard.

Nor would you want to, I'd assume. I'd actually like to hear that on my answering machine someday.

Alas, the limited world regards unlimited people with confusion. Little change is possible. Though unlimited people often regard the limited world with amusement. I do, most days.

ok. i am in a bit of a mood today for some reason so bear with me. i am soooooo ashamed right now to be from colorado. our representatives are leading the charge for amending the consititution to prohibit same-sex marriages. and frankly, i am pretty ashamed to be from the unites states as well... our current...

Sorry to hear the politics of the day are getting you down. It's a long road ahead, but I have to believe that things will get better. But if they get much worse, there are many countries I can go to.

It's odd that you should mention Herman's Head, as I visited a friend of mine not long ago who had some episodes on tape. It doesn't entirely hold up, but it was pretty enjoyable to watch the episode where Herman was trying to break a world record by eating peanuts.

i think i may start writing reviews again. i love it when they flow. here is an exerpt from my latest...

"for a film about john holmes, adult entertainment industry icon, wonderland is suprisingly devoid of nudity. that being said, this film by james cox does and intersting job of chronicalling the events surrounding the 1981 wonderland murders...

I've not seen that movie. Good or not?
enjoy your weekend. biggrin
rickroyal:
My thought was that lack of nudity was the least of Wonderland's problems. Let's say that it was a decent film.

One of the things that I feel robbed of from The Big Lebowski was that we never got to see the bowling match. I imagine that would've rocked.

And, hey, Yeardley could be hot. I think. Maybe. Okay, you're right. That'd be too much.
