i am better now but few things piss me off more than people who throw their cigarette butts out their window. forgive me for a second but i must rant.

there is this nifty device which comes as standard equipment in ALL vehicles (EDIT: except Stacie's). it isn't tough to use, is usually conveniently located and doesn't require any special training to understand. it is called an ashtray. use the goddamned thing!

i just don't understand this phenomenon at all. most of these people wouldn't deign to throw their trash out the window but their cigarette butts? apparently that isn't littering. plus, lit butts cause fires! endangering wildlife (both flora and fauna), people and property. so do me a favor... if you are a smoker, please use your ashtray. if not and you see someone throwing their butt on the ground... punch them vigorously in the nuts.
