Man, it's been a long time since I was here.
It'll probably be awhile until I return as well.
I've been so fucking busy lately. My project is really time-consuming lately. Not only do I have to make sense out of all my contigs(DNA sequence assemblies), but I also have to teach a bunch of shit to this new guy, Dr. Jang. He's from Korea, and his English is horrible. I mean just absolutely appallingly wretched. He speaks softly as well, so I often find myself leaning towards him so that my aural orifice is more properly aligned with the garbled stream of linguistic nightmares emanating from the esteemed Dr. Jang's mouth. Unfortunately, at such a close proximity to his confused mouthparts, I am then subjected to his breath, which could kill a thousand elves in a confined space.
Anyways...recently I've seen Superjoint Ritual (who were alot of fun) and Fantomas (who were genuinely astonishing). Tub Ring will be playing at Swayze's this month (the 28th I think).
I got a new resonant head for my kick drum and it sounds like a fucking earthquake. I am most pleased.
Last week optimistress and I went and shot a couple of clips with the Thompson submachine gun, which I had been itching to shoot for awhile.
Tonight me and some friends are gonna go see Kill Bill Vol. 2, which I'm sure will be most entertaining.
I owe the government about $3000 in income taxes. But it's my own fault for not filing since 2000. Hopefully I will graduate and be able to find a place where my skills in molecular biology will rake in some big bucks.
I guess life has been pretty fucking stressful lately.
But I'm in love, so it doesn't get me down too much.
