My first gig went really well. We played to a packed house, albeit a small one. I was pretty fucking nervous. At no point did we ever choke or make glaring mistakes, and there was even one song that we nailed utterly note for note.
Given that I've only been playing drums since Christmas, I guess I couldn't have asked for much more. There was even a really cute girl who was totally giving me the eye. It was awesome.
The other day I found a Visa card that was left in the ATM by my house. I reported it lost, but for a second I though about having dinner at the local Japanese steakhouse courtesy of the dumb fucker who left his card in the machine.
Which reminds me--when I was a sophomore in high school, I found a hundred dollar bill, wrapped in two ones, on the floor of the cafeteria. I turned the money in to the office, and all my friends gave me a bunch of grief about it. However, several weeks later no one had claimed the cash, and I ended up getting it anyways. In their faces!
I saw Against Me! last night, and met deckwreck. It was a lot of fun, but I don't think I can drink anymore alky-hol tonight. 3 nights in a row is enough.
Mike Patton is going to be at the Echo Lounge this Thursday, as will I. It's going to rock very very hard.

hey, i have a question. what exactly is the heirophant? i ask because one fo the tattoos i'm thinking of getting invloves crossed keys, and i noticed that you said that was the symbol for the heirophant, and i didn't want to be "that guy" who has a tattoo but no idea what it means.
