sick sick sick for days.
yesterday my throat was so sore that swallowing made my eyes water.
it felt like a steel-bristled brush was scrubbing my pharynx to bloody rags.
worst sore throat ever.
today is more tolerable.
got to go to work tonight--will scan some more pics and stuff.
strep throat smokes massive pole.
did you know that, left untreated, several types of Streptococcus bacteria can cause two other deadly diseases? and they are: rheumatic fever(pretty unpleasant) and necrotizing fasciitis (spectacularly nasty, also known as flesh-eating disease). that's what my microbiology texts say anyways.
on the upside, i finally got rid of my old mattress that was sitting in my living room for a week or so. gave it to these folks for their young daughter to sleep on. i felt kind of weird about it. i don't even want to think about how many times i've spunked right where that little girl now lays her head. ewww.
