I'm about to change my '5 items I can't live without' to include a doggie door. My old place had an automatic one that opened from the sensor attached to her collar. Boy do I miss that door. I feel as if my #1 hobby has become following my dog around everywhere she goes, picking up poop.

Day 2 (con't) - We went to The Album Leaf's CD release tonight at the M-Theory!! (((squeel)))

My g/f's were a little skeptical on the way since they didn't know what to expect. I scare them sometimes. Anyway, all the way asking who are we going to go see again (they never listen/don't really care), how do I know this guy (if only I did), will it be loud (ugggg!).....

Jimmy LaValle is fucking amazing. I am in total awe of how brilliant he is. Seeing them perform live has to be the highlight of my whole year thus far. When I see someone making a living playing music with their friends, I get unbelievably happy. It gives me hope. Sub Pop is what's right about the record industry.

Then I got paged - I have to work @ 6:30 AM tomorrow. So, we scrapped the next place we were going to and came back early. I guess I'm growing up.

I'm working in San Diego next week!! YES! So, I'm heading down to LaLaLand this weekend and next to hangout with my best friend.

I can't wait! I've got such a love/hate relationship with LA, though. I miss so many things about LA and hate so many too.

It's 3 AM. She says baby!

102 got me up, she wanted outside. Now I can't go back to sleep. It is so cool this time of night/morning (?). I can hear the ocean when there isn't any traffic. Very nice. I wanted to stay outside but it's so damn cold!

Yes! A much better day! Spent most of it realizing I let things bother me too much.....eerrg! I need to get over that!! I have a pretty cush life all in all. And, I came home to find my friend's CD that I ordered in my mailbox. Could not wait for the CD release gig. It's gonna be an alt-country night!!
