But on a serious note meeting people online or in bars most times is just a magnet for the attention whores and low self esteem patties. You have to weed out the "fun" gals and just talk to someone that seems quiet but eventually turn out to be quite nice.
Anyone that seems to be soooo much fun online is usually someone that will turn out to be a freakazoid in person. All my my favorite people that I've met either here or somewhere else online that I know in person usuallly have been very quiet and sometimes downright dull personalities online.
But it's like anything else. Hit or miss, yah know?
Yeah. That's how it is. People are stupid and probably think the same of you, but at least you have your dignity. Commenting on the last post, I live in nyc and think it's lame. Everyone is completely into being a new yorker and fashion. I have one friend who is straight edge. Nothing wrong with that, but I drink continuously.
