Best idea is to put your presents in those canvas shopping bags. You can get them at most grocery stores @ 2 for 3$ or something. So 1.50$. A lot of them are made of recycled materials as well. And if you buy a gift bag.. it costs 2$ or more.. So you're saving money. .and trying to get people to use reusable bags instead of plastic. It saves a hell of a lot of time too. Plus, people will think it's more thoughtful that you're trying to make a difference. I normally make a print out of plastic bag facts to put with the "to from" tag. It says stuff about how long paper and plastic takes to degrade and how much pollution they cause. Just a little added guilt them into using their bags. So it's like two gifts instead of one! Plus! They can put all their gifts in the gift bag to take them home later.
Seriously, people, this is a great idea. Do it.
In other news... It's supposed to snow today... all through tomorrow, and stop early friday morning. Blah.

I found this website called customized girl.. and they sell these canvas bags and shirts and underwear that they can print anythign on. I photoshopped all sorts of photos and made bags for people that have pictures of their fav bands, artists paintings, race car driver, monster, whatever.. and it costs like 10$ for a bag thats personalized enough to make people feel like you really care. but cheap enough that you don't go broke. I think it was a good find.
