I swear there are people upstairs constantly punding the floor with hammers. Seriously. mad They woke me up at 10 oclock! Ugh, I didn't even get to bed untill 3 am. blackeyed

Q: Do you think your past alcohol/drug use has led to a diminished mental capacity? I mean, has the millions of brain cells you've killed made a noticable effect in your life?

Me? Yes, I used to be all smart and junk. I used to be able to write well. Now I can't I just stare at the paper or screen and blank out. I killed alot of braincells over the years.

I used both in moderation, so my cells are happy and snug in their beds. It was fun to get stupid on weekends, but I also knew I wouldn't be a very effective writer or teacher if I let myself get out of control.

Man, I had a somebody upstairs once, fat old woman, who'd stomp around flatfooted for hours until I'd get a broomstick and, no, not shove it up her ass but bang on the ceiling like machine-gun fire, and then she would wait for a few seconds and JUMP in the air and come down with both feet, boom. and this would go on for 10 or 20 minutes, which is a long time for thing like this to go on. The short version is, she was my landlady. Doubled my rent. Couldn't pay it. Out.

A: Never used drugs but I think the alcohol, which I didn't start until 30 and then made up for lost time, has reeked havuck. Parents both are alkies and I never went that route, but I likes my wine and wisht I didn't.
