Well, my stay at the Kent Hotel was um, interesting (?) It's great when you are trying to sleep and the junkie "nextdoor" is arguing with his girlfriend over the amount of dope he gets first because "goddamnit, HE bought the rigs!!!" Heh, and lastnight my room shook from some dance party at, I think, the Roxy.
And it's coming down to the wire folks. I have a place to stay for a little bit. Not ready to throw in the towel yet. I have a few more job leads and an overwhelming desire to stay in town. Because I'd be leaving more than Portland. I'd be leaving a little ray of sunshine that has kept me warm, even in that drafty little hotel room.
