It's kinda silly when people try to make a small difference in society when their life's work will be nothing but a blink in reference to an eternal time span. The majority of individuals that end up being remembered the most in history are mass murderers and serial killers. Why is that? I want to be remembered when I die, I want to contribute to better society, but what's the point if no one's going to care 20 years after I die.
