Woooo what a game! It was a lovely day too, although I would have preferred to have sat out of the sun! My nose is SO red! Plus we were sat next to some blooming Toulouse fans with drums....
It was a great game, Toulouse are twice European Champions and their passing showed why! They were skipping all over the place and we were missing important tackles. Still Wasps went in at half time 13-11. The second half was well fought, and despite a second wasps try, Toulouse thanks to two penalties clawed back to 20-20. With the game destined for extra time, Toulouse full-back Clement Poitrenaud watched Howley's speculative kick drift towards the touchline. Howley chased the ball down like a leopard, diving magnificently towards the ball, Howley tipped the ball down and after an eternity, the TV judge gave the try! 27-20!
