So as my year comes to a close I like to remember some of my high points , Since I work in a music venue I like to remember the fun I had this year
Hanging out with Johnny Damon (former Yankee) at the Stone Sour Show
Gavin Degraw remembering me and asking about my mom (got her to meet him the year before)
Having a cigarette with Taylor Momsen (Pretty Reckless, Gossip Girl, Cindi lou who) and just shooting the shit with her without being a fan boy
Hanging out with Heidi Butcher from the Butcher Babies (awesome woman)
Getting @chrysis into her first Brand New show for her birthday present
My trip to South Carolina to see Rob Zombie with @ramzey , watching the show and driving straight home to work Black Label Society less than 15 hours later
Suicidal Tendencies at Hard Rock and getting thrown out for organizing a mosh pit
Seeing D.R.I. at a shit hole bar in Orlando (old warm up band when I was competing in Surf Contests)
Hanging backstage with Ivan Moody from Five Finger Death Punch
Watching @candyhell go pink (had to do it)
Escorting a drunken Tara Reid to an elevator during spooky empire
My insanely crazy night escorting Daniel Baldwin around the venue
I learned how to sail alone
I have an amazing workout plan/diet and I look fucking awesome for being 41
but one of the most memorable nights was for Christian /Gospel singer Kari Job - Kari told her fans to make sure that the bartenders were taken care of , even though no one was drinking alcohol and we only had 4 bartenders on staff, each person in the crowd walked by the bartenders and handed them 10's and 20's until the bartenders were in tears. Was an absolutely amazing moment.
Have a great Holiday SG , Im off to Puerto Rico to hunt a wave a friend and I have had mapped out for about 10 years
