... i tried the new song out tonight at open mic night at the bar next door, and it went over really well, so i guess it's a keeper. in other news, one of my best friends ever is coming up from my hometown (lake charles, louisiana) to hang out for about two weeks, and i couldn't be more excited...

Yeah, I stayed with Sweep for a weekend a year or two ago. They are great guys but they really get going when you had some alcohol and a crowd. They came up from Chicago to play at my friend Stephanie's birthday party with a crwod of maybe thirty people, and all for some beer and gas money. They are pretty much done for now, but if you get a chance to see them again...
