I need to share this:

Army sent me a survey. I sent this response:

Here you are, but I don't think you're going to like it that much.

Q 1. Please explain below, any area that you feel we could improve upon, so that we can work to make the Recruiting process run smoother, and provide you better service.

A. You can listen when my communication which you have previously referred to in your email told you to leave me alone and not continue to contact me. Thereby saving money and ceasing the constant tax hikes that plague our nation.

Q 2. Are you a Prior Military Service Member?

A. No. And I do not plan to make answering yes to this question an option in the future.

Q 3. In your honest opinion, were all your questions answered and concerns addressed by the Cyber Recruiter who initially answered your email?

A. I don't think I recieved an answer. In fact I'm pretty sure my email sorted you out as Junk Mail. I gotta give hotmail props for running a well tuned machine on that one.

Q 4. Did he or she follow up with you within a few days of forwarding your information to the local Recruiting Station to insure you were contacted for assistance?

A. Probably that good ol' junk mail filter doing it's job to the nines again!

Q 5. Has a US Army Recruiter in your local area met with you?

A. No. And for the sake of their psyche I hope they don't.

Q 6. During the meeting, did the local US Army Recruiter show you how the Army or Army Reserve can help you achieve your goals?

A. This is of course assuming that I have goals that the Army can help to achieve and that I met with a recruiter. Hmm.... maybe.... nope. Nope. I like living. I like not being shot at. I like sleeping late on my days off. I like not having a strict chain of command. I like being able to change my mind about what I'm doing on any given day at the drop of a hat. My goals are currently undefined except for a few personal ones that you're not privy to.

Q 7. Did you undergo processing at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)?

A. This would of course assume that I had done other things previously listed in this survey. Perhaps you should consider revising this? Or maybe other people just type N/A or leave it blank. Who knows, right?

Q 8. Did you meet with an Army Guidance Counselor to view job opportunities based on your qualifications?

A. Hell no. Sir, request that you see previous answer, sir.

Q 9. Have you enlisted into the U.S Army, or any other service?

A. Double hell no. Shouldn't this be obvious by now?

Q 10. If you have not enlisted, please explain your main reason for not doing so?

A. *cues up the National Anthem* Because it's my right not to.

PEACE OUT!
