The party was pretty good, not as good as last years since a lot of people that said they were coming ended out flaking on us last minute (what a waste of food!). But yeah, those that did come all had a great time as did we.

It is July already and I haven't gotten to skinny dip or lay out naked cause all it has done so far this summer is rain and the temp hasn't gone above 75 degrees!
I am gonna get some sun in Texas though....just not naked! lol

got the grass cut and the rest of the garden tilled.
We made the 16 yr old help out while I was seasoning the ribs to BBQ on the grill... he did not complain

On the gardening front, our garden this year is unusually robust. My 17 year old son works at a garden center...he's been bringing home free and discounted stuff all Spring- free stuff being slightly damaged plants or bags of mulch etc. that they were throwing away...its sweet deal...plus he does all the work! Mostly flowers. A new redbud tree is the nicest score.
We have veggies including tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash and assorted peppers. Not a lot of room in the veggie patch. Need to replant the lettuce and spinach- first crop bolted and I already pulled it.
And just remember, it ain't the years, its the miles and the maintenance plan.

i got burnt and stayed white all around my tattoos where the sun block was it looked really gay but hey the sunblock worked so thats a plus .... i dunno a pool seems so less hot and so clean lol
