Its always a wonderful thing... lift up the washer lid, and a green cloud practically wafted out of the drum. Mmm... my roommate's moldy pillow. Probably percolating in there for a week. Wonderful.
I'm thinking of moving into the basement over the summer months. I'm cooking to death in my room, and although we have central air, no one will turn it on.
I was down there this afternoon, and it was probably a good ten degrees cooler if not more down there than in the rest of the house.
I got my fingers thoroughly chewed by puppy teeth this afternoon. I gave her an ice cube to play with, plus I wanted to give her something to cool her down. She had a lot of fun chasing it around the kitchen floor. Very cute.

I'm doing alright I guess. My usual somewhat depressed state of mind. Not about anything in particular. Just my usual sense of emptiness and nothingness. Wish I could shake it.
